Messianic Jews Teach the Marriage Supper is in Heaven

The Messianic Jews believe that their marriage ceremony reflects what Jesus taught would happen to men - that  His referral to the marriage supper and the bride is a parable to understand the events that will happen when He returns.

Jesus calls the church His bride.  Saints are told to prepare for the marriage supper, to eat with the bridegroom, Jesus, in His Father's kingdom.  The question is, where will this supper take place, on earth or in heaven?

The Jews' marriage ceremony's last ritual is the breaking of the glass which means that a covenant broken cannot be put back together (that this marriage covenant is forever - no divorce is acceptable to them.)

After the breaking of the glass, the married couple begin their life together.  the "new couple goes to the father's home to begin married life." 

At a recent Jewish wedding ceremony we attended, the groom was a Messianic Jew, and the bride and her guests were Christians. The rabbi  explained the ceremony as they proceeded step by step. He explained the Jewish beliefs along with the Christian beliefs.  He said that their wedding feast lasts for seven days in the groom's father's house, and that is like those who believe in Jesus--that they too, will be taken up into the clouds to heaven for the marriage supper, or wedding feast, then return for the Millennial Reign.  I was shocked at this for I'd just read scriptures from our beliefs that were in total harmony with this thinking.  Looking up the Jewish weddings on the Internet I found the following, and quote it:

The Messianic Jews wrote: "We too, will go to the Father's house for the Marriage Feast of the Lamb, then go with the Messiah in His reign in His kingdom here on earth for 1,000 years.

Revelation 21:1 'Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the  first heaven and the first earth had passed away.  Also there was no more sea.  then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.'

Revelation 19:5 'Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage Supper of the Lamb!'"  (called where?)

A living words message was received that day from scriptures standing out as I read.  Many have opened the scriptures and God speaks His will for us at this time.  The following message came:

*  God will not let the Gentiles destroy us, nor will He let the Gentiles stay in their state of blindness because of the priestcraft in the church.  They shall be visited by the Lord in judgment.

*  God will manifest Himself to my seed (Echo will have testimonies to share of Jesus)

"...and blessed are they who shall seek to bring forth My Zion at the day, for they shall have the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost; and if they endure to the end, they shall be saved in the everlasting kingdom of the Lamb. And whoso shall publish peace, even tidings of great joy, how beautiful upon the Mts. shall they be." 1N 3

God began fulfilling that promise on this same day:  Our 5-year-old grandson, Michael Joseph, had a dream in the afternoon:  He said he was taken up into the air to “walk” on the air “without a car.”  He described the angels, God, and Jesus as “shiny.”

He seems to have seen a resurrection or catching up. He said many people came to their house on Stagecoach in cars, trucks, etc. But then they were taken up into the sky without that vehicle.  A single file line was formed heading toward heaven. God and Jesus kissed each one as if in greeting.  Michael named several of the family ascending to meet the Lord, and our pets also went up with us.  They also became "shiny."  I believe this becoming "shiny" represents a glorification of our spirits, the quickening of each to that to which he aspires by choice (DC.

Everyone had on their normal clothes, but a “shiny” garment was put over their clothes as they ascended. Their shoes were changed to a “rainbow” color. MJ said there were so many people that he thought he couldn’t go up, but someone also in shiny clothes came to find him and took him up, too.

The angels brought him some bread to eat and something to drink out of their hands (sacrament),  He said he didn’t have a cup.

He saw Jesus go over to Melissa (his deaf aunt), put His fingers in her ears, touch her mouth, and she could hear and speak. M J was too young to know that this is how Jesus healed a deaf person during His ministry on earth. (Mark 7:31-34)  He said God and Jesus had white hair, and when they first appeared we all covered our eyes (apparently to protect them from the glory light). He didn’t understand why we did this. God is manifesting Himself to my seed as He promised.

EVENTS IN THE 6 YEARS OF TEACHING

The first thousand years - are from the Creation of Adam and the covenants made to man to Enoch and his teachings for 365 years.

The second thousand years would include Noah's flood, the division of the continents with the water from inside the earth, the Tower of Babel, confounding of languages, and scattering of men throughout the nations; the Jadeites coming to America.

The third thousand years would include the Abraham, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Twelve sons birth, Joseph in Egypt, Moses and the Exodus, receiving the Ten Commandments, down to Joshua and the Tribes of Israel crossing over the Jordan River to conquer the lands for Israel.

The fourth thousand years include learning about King David and Solomon with all his riches; the building of Solomon's temple, and the dividing of the Twelve Tribes; the reign of the kings of the divided nation; the Assyrians conquering the Ten Tribes of Israel, and God taking them to a hidden land in the north; to the Jews being taken into Babylon for 70 years and Lehi's family fleeing to America; the Nephites and Lamanites warring among each other for 600 years unto near distinction; the rise and fall of Babylon with Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus of Persia, Darius, Daniel, Alexander of Greece, to  Rome.

The fifth thousand years include Samuel the Lamanite prophesying of Jesus' birth, the ministry of Jesus in Jerusalem; the destruction at His crucifixion and forming of the Tectonic plates; the resurrection of saints all over the world at Christ's resurrection; the commissioning of the Twelve to go worldwide with the testimony of the work of Jesus; the apostasy of the church and the rise of the false prophet and abominable church,.

The sixth thousand years include the dark ages of the earth, the Crusades and Inquisitions; popery in Roman Catholicism with a choke hold on the world; the birth of Muhammad and rise of an Islamic caliphate; the discovery of America; developing the Constitution, Revolutionary, and Civil wars as Romanism tries to make America bow to Rome; the coming forth of the Book of Mormon and Restoration of the priesthood and New Testament Church, to the building of Zion and coming of Jesus to His church.

The seventh thousand years is the Millennial Reign--the Sabbath for the earth.
