Doctrine and Covenants for the Gentiles--Never at any time shall the Gentiles see Jesus like the Jew saw Him, but they shall be given His words

The Doctrine and Covenants is the voice of inspired counsel to the Gentiles received through the prophet Joseph Smith, Jr., and is one of the three major books of scripture governing His church.

When Jesus was resurrected He visited all the tribes of Israel scattered on the earth. He told the Nephites in the Book of Mormon that each nation would have a record of His visit and ministry to them; but at no time would the Gentiles see Him. However, He said He would speak to them through the Holy Ghost. The Doctrine and Covenants is the fulfillment of that promise.  God called to the Gentiles in the first section of the book. And they would fail Him.   Then He would turn again to Israel.

"When I called again, there was none of you to answer,
yet my arm was not shortened at all that I could not redeem,
neither my power to deliver."
D.C. 108:12

Read the 1974 testimony of Elder Elmer Kaler who saw Jesus walking out of the RLDS Auditorium with a few who woke up.  It appears that the majority of the body were sleeping virgins and the power to represent Christ was lost by the main body of the Reorganized Church.

Section 102

"Hearken, O ye people of My church, saith the voice of Him who dwells on high, and Whose eyes are upon all men; yea verily I say, Hearken ye people from afar, and ye that are upon the islands of the sea, listen together; for verily the voice of the Lord is unto all men, and there is none to escape, and there is no eye that shall not see, neither ear that shall not hear, neither heart that shall not be penetrated; and the rebellious shall be pierced with much sorrow, for their iniquities shall be spoken upon the housetops, and their secret acts shall be revealed; and the voice of warning shall be unto all people, by the mouths of My disciples, whom I have chosen in these last days, and they shall go forth and none shall stay them, for I the Lord have commanded them." D&C 1:1
