With the approaching 2000 computer concerns, our family decided to put in a well.  Simple enough to do except the geologist told us that there is no water in this area worth drilling for.  So we changed our minds.   Our friends told us they drilled about two thousand feet and came up dry.  Here's our story.

In 1959 we were blessed with the gift of a beautiful daughter. In her first six months she was struck deaf and blind by Spinal Meningitis. Those who have experienced life-threatening illness with those they love know what it’s like to walk through the valley of darkness.  When she was in her 40s her beloved pet Lhasa died of old age.  Her heart would have broken except for the Master's love.  Read her touching and startling testimony of how Jesus brought her pet to her for one last goodby.

ECHO members belong to EMFI, a not-for-profit nondenominational incorporation.
Everyone has to find their field of ministry designated by the Lord.  ECHO is seeking their place in the vineyard.  They are embarking on a mission of converting their big barn into a place of music ministry and inviting everyone who loves to sing for and about Jesus to come for a monthly song and testimony ministry.  Jesus Christ alone is the focus of their efforts.  The undertaking is an enormous and joyous task.

Click on the photo left for an enlargement of the barn in ECHO's backyard in Blue Springs, MO which we hope to turn into this "Barn Ministry." The house on the 4 acres was built for the Kansas City Royals baseball legend, Roger Maris, in 1966 and just finished when he was transferred to Florida.  He was never able to occupy the property, but a Royals baseball sticker is still on one of the closet doors.
